Job Summary

Illuminate USA is looking for an HR Coordinator in the Columbus, Ohio area to support our growing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth HR operations by managing HR data, optimizing processes, and enhancing associate experience. Your efforts will help drive efficiency, improve workflows, and maintain a positive work environment. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused setting, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate insightful reports on HR metrics to guide strategic decision-making and support departmental and company objectives.
  • Administer corrective actions promptly and effectively, ensuring alignment with company standards and legal compliance.
  • Handle data entry tasks with precision, updating and maintaining employee records, benefits information, and performance metrics within our HRIS system, Workday.
  • Review and approve employee timesheets using Workday, ensuring both accuracy and timely processing to uphold company policies.
  • Participate in the rollout and administration of various HR programs and initiatives, contributing to their success and efficiency.
  • Provide robust support to the HR department by performing daily administrative tasks and serving as a go-to resource for HR-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role, with a strong emphasis on administrative responsibilities and data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems, particularly Workday.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting at all levels of the organization.
